Rules and Regulations – Noon Public High School, Taisuru
At Noon Public High School, we believe that discipline and respect for rules create a positive learning environment. Our rules are designed to promote responsibility, safety, and mutual respect among students, staff, and the school community.
Important Vacation Notice
There will be two vacations each year: Winter and Summer.
- Winter Vacation will start on December 15 and last for two months or more, depending on the decision of the Government or Managing Board. Winter vacation cannot be combined with any other leave.
- Summer Vacation may or may not happen, based on the school board’s or Government’s decision.
- Special holidays for the school will be decided by the Chairman or Managing Board. The school will observe the following holidays every year:
Eid-Ul-Fitr, Nowroz-E-Alam, Eid-Ul-Azha, Miladun Nabi, Eid-E-Gadeer, Shabe Barat, Shabi Meraj, Shabi Qdir, Republic Day, Independence Day, Jumatul Vida, Aashura, Gandhi Jayanti, Arabaeen, Losar, Diwali, Christmas Day
General School Rules:
- Attendance
- Students must attend school regularly. A minimum of 75% attendance is required for promotion to the next class.
- If absent, a written explanation from the parent/guardian is required on the student’s return.
- Punctuality
- Students must arrive at school by 9:50 AM. Latecomers may not be allowed to attend class without valid reasons.
- School gates close at 10:00 AM sharp. Leaving school premises without permission during school hours is strictly prohibited.
- Uniform
- All students must wear the prescribed school uniform. It should be clean and neat at all times.
- Failure to wear the proper uniform may result in disciplinary action. Special dress codes apply for events, which will be communicated in advance.
- Behavior
- Respect towards teachers, staff, and fellow students is mandatory. Misbehavior, bullying, or use of abusive language will not be tolerated.
- Students must maintain discipline inside and outside the classroom. Any act of indiscipline will result in immediate action by the school authorities.
- Use of Electronic Devices
- Mobile phones, tablets, and other electronic gadgets are not allowed in school. If required for learning purposes, prior permission must be obtained from the school authorities.
- Unauthorized use of such devices will result in confiscation and disciplinary action.
- Respect for Property
- Students must take care of school property, including books, furniture, and equipment. Any damage caused, whether intentional or accidental, must be reported immediately.
- Vandalism or theft will lead to strict disciplinary measures, including compensation for damages.
- Academic Integrity
- Cheating, copying, or any form of academic dishonesty in exams, assignments, or projects will not be tolerated. Offenders may face suspension or expulsion.
- Students must complete their homework and projects on time, and active class participation is encouraged.
- Health and Safety
- Students are expected to maintain cleanliness and personal hygiene. The school provides clean drinking water and proper sanitation facilities.
- Any health issues should be reported to the class teacher immediately. Parents should ensure their children are in good health before sending them to school.
- Participation in School Activities
- Participation in all school events, including cultural programs, sports, and field trips, is mandatory unless exempted by valid reasons.
- Students are encouraged to participate in extracurricular activities for their overall development.
- Parental Involvement
- Parents must attend all parent-teacher meetings to stay informed about their child’s progress.
- Communication between parents and teachers should be respectful and professional at all times.
Disciplinary Action:
Violation of the above rules may result in one or more of the following:
- Verbal or written warning
- Detention or suspension
- Expulsion for serious offenses
